Thank you, Gianlucio, this one did take a bit of time. I have a few others with the same kind of deal of layering in squares. I need to get a better photo, though. The part which appears white is a silver paint.

I also paint for hobby and for passion, but my painting is far from yours: Fundamentally I'm oneiric and surrealist even if from time to time I also try informal painting.

I feel as though sometimes we have to live some challenging times in life in order to bring to the fore what we need to share. I am glad you brought this subject up, too.
Also, I am glad you like this painting. It is really different for me, although I have some other ideas brewing in the back of my head. I keep thinking about its meaning and it keeps changing. I know the structure is related to my interior design life, though.

I'll check out your other blog in just a moment, I just wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. I prefer using magazines for my collages--the vast majority of them are created from magazine cut-outs. And I actually don't go to the Corcoran--I recently graduated from a school in North Carolina and now I'm back in D.C (I grew up in northern VA) working and trying to aspire to become a full-time artist.

Ah, my mistake. I thought you were still in school...not just out. That is great. It seems to take a lot to become a full-time artist. At least that is the way it has been for me and some others I know.
