Glacier Colors
'Glacier Colors' is reflective of a special place on earth which touches everyone's soul. You know where it is for you. It brings you to that place deep inside you where life is ancient, time belongs only to you and you are quite sure we live forever here. There is so much clarity and so much reflection in this special place you cannot stop going there in your mind. This is acrylic on 40 x 30 inches staple-less, gallery wrapped 1.5 inch deep cotton canvas.
Thanks Dianne! This one gets quite a bit of attention. It is one of the earlier ones I did in this series and have a feeling I will be taking off of this line again.
Is the photograph of the work close to the true color? It looks a little dark. Or maybe it is my screen. A photograph can never truely capture an art work. I have a hard time photographing my own work. Great to see your progress.
On my screen, Todd, it is very, very close. I checked another computer in the house and it is also quite true. Photography of artwork can be a challenge and as much as we like to have control over things, the trueness of the computers of others is not within our reach.
My art is currently being promoted by Van Weyenbergh Fine Arts in Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, Brussels and Paris.
If You Have People
...have them contact me.
I am currently looking for gallery representation. If you are interested in speaking with me about this possibility or if you have insights as to approachable galleries, please email me (artist[at]KimRodefferFunk[dot]com) so we can talk. You know my people can call your people :) Of course I have no "people", but if you do that is great!
More information about my paintings can be found on my web site including how to purchase them. If you are interested in something shown here which is not on my web site, please contact me via email at artist[at]KimRodefferFunk[dot]com

My paintings are signed on the side of the canvas or work where possible. This is so the work can be hung in a way which is best for you without my signature interferring.
We are testers and collaborators of art and live in different countries and on different continents.

It is a comfort to me, too.
